Hey guys, I know I am really bad at updating but a lot of things have been happening. I graduated and am currently working full time.
The reason I am back is because I am thinking about getting botox again (I know I said I wouldnt lol) but I am going to a friends wedding in Hawaii and staying there for a vacation for 1 week.
Since I have never been to the beach or traveled anywhere that is hot year round (I live in Toronto) I decided that I need botox to help me enjoy my trip :)
This time I am getting botox of my hands and feet. My last treatment was in 2008 on my hands and it worked well for like 3 months then it stopped.
I want to try botox for my feet because I want to wear sandals and heels. Also I want to go on the beach without having sand attached to my soles all the time (without even going into the water lol).
I called the dr that performed it last time and will make an appointment. I hope insurance will cover it but if not it will cost about $3,000!!!
Talk you soon! :)

Im Back! It has been 2 years!
Hi Guys,
Im really sorry that I havent been updating for the last 2 years...this is what happens when you find a cure for sweaty hands or hyperhidrosis lol you forget about the problem and live your life.
Its funny how I stumbled on my old blog, I wasn't even looking for it. I even remembered my gmail password to access this place.
Many of you are probably wondering if I ever got botox again? Although I really liked that it made my hands dry - the muscle weakness and cost both put me off. I am also too scared to get the surgery for excessive sweating in my hands and feet so for now I will just manage the sweat myself.
I met someone that has accepted my sweaty hands and finds it cute. There are people out there that don't care! Just keep your eye out for them. I haven't been able to find anyone else that I know who has hyperhidrosis other then my dad but he is retired and his hands are always dry now.
This gives us all some hope that when we reach 65 years old we will no longer have sweaty hands YAYYY lol (can you read the sarcasm?)
Anyway, I am back to having hyperhidrosis and I don't mind. It doesn't stop me from doing what I want anymore. Even during interviews I will just let them know that my hands are a bit sweaty and no one really cares.
I hope that gives others some hope that its not the end of the world to have sweaty hands and there are options for you to get rid of it if you want.

Day 22 - I had a sweat attack
Hi Guys,
Today I had a sweat attack while at the grocery store...of all places. I don't know what triggered it but I started to get moist on the tips of my fingers. My palm was still dry.
My feet were REALLY sweaty and got cold right away. So far the botox has been working like 90% of the time but I never really expected 100% improvement.
I will warm you guys that I won't be posting everyday anymore because there really isn't much difference on a day to day basis. So Ill post again in a few days or when something exciting happens with my Hyperhidrosis - can I still say I suffer from it? lol
Take care!
